What No One Tells You About Life After Leaving Corporate
I dreamed for years about leaving my corporate job. Freedom. Spacious days. No meetings or Slack pings. Just… me, finally doing what I wanted.
But when I actually left L’Oreal after 7 years and stepped into entrepreneurship—with a fresh coaching certification in hand—I felt totally lost.
I had no idea how disorienting it would be to go from 100mph to stillness. From constantly being needed to suddenly… invisible.
No emails. No projects. No direction.
It didn’t feel like freedom—it felt unsafe. I was detoxing from a rhythm of urgency, from an identity built around being "important" in a high-demand job.
It shook me.
Even though I was teaching yoga online, I felt anxious, ungrounded, and unsure of my value. The silence felt like failure, not success.
I was living at home during COVID, navigating a new relationship and a new business. And while my mom reminded me to trust the process, I felt like I was free-falling.
But eventually, the coaching clients came. And I realized this recalibration—this uncomfortable in-between—is the exact thing I now help my clients move through.
✨ Transitioning out of corporate isn’t just a career move—it’s a nervous system shift.
✨ Becoming an entrepreneur isn’t just strategy—it’s identity work.
✨ Rebuilding your life from the inside out takes time—and it takes a lot of courage.
If you're feeling anxious in the stillness… like you're floating in a void between who you were and who you're becoming—I see you. You're readjusting.
Coaching with me is about learning to tune your inner dial. To stop pushing and start aligning & trust that what feels like “nothing” is actually something new forming.
If you’re navigating a big career transition, identity shift, or are simply ready for more clarity and calm in this new chapter—I’d love to support you.
✨ You can book a one-off session for immediate clarity or work together over time for deeper transformation here.
Let’s recalibrate together.
Xo,
Kitty
