Feeling Stuck? How Cutting Instagram Helped Me Reconnect with My Creativity and Business
The last few weeks have kind of felt like stagnation nation for me. I’ve been feeling stuck—creatively drained, spiritually disconnected, and just off.
During my weekly money date, I had this moment of clarity. I could see the stagnation reflected in my finances. Things have stayed the same for months—no big dips (which I’m grateful for!), but no real growth either. It felt like a mirror of my own internal state. And as I stared at those numbers, I felt the weight of my habits keeping me stuck.
And I could name the main one: Instagram.
Instagram Was Stealing My Focus I had been telling myself the big lie that I had to be on Instagram to grow my business. But honestly? It was draining my creativity, my clarity, and my ability to build anything with intention.
So I finally did what I had been resisting for months: 🚫 Blocked Instagram on my phone 💻 Committed to only checking it on my computer once a day 📖 And within days, everything started shifting
What Changed When I Cut Back on Instagram: 💡 I finally created the Human Design deconditioning meditations I’d been dreaming up for months (they are amaziiiiing magic and you can access them here for free!) 💡 I stopped feeling so weighed down by comparison 💡 I got clarity on where I was out of integrity in my business
